Founder & Executive Director

Dr. Baker is a licensed clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist. In 2018 she was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Springfield Business Journal. Dr. Baker also served as an associate professor in marriage and family therapy and as the Director of the Murney Clinic, a community mental health clinic, in Springfield.

Rhonda is a retired educator who joined the team in 2018. She assists in training NPGD facilitators and manages the Good Dads headquarters.

Lisa has been with the team since 2018. She oversees the New Pathways for Good Dads program and builds Individual Service Plans for NPGD fathers.

D'Markus Thomas-Brown

Regional Director, Columbia

D'Markus has a strong passion for community enrichment and reinvestment, especially for families in their respective communities. D'Markus has vast experience in leadership and management across many industries. He is a Chaplain for the Columbia Police Department (CPD) and is credentialed by the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC). He serves on the University of Missouri School of Medicine Echo hub team and is a board member of the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB). He graduated from Columbia College with his master's in business administration (MBA). He is an ordained minister who also serves as the Founding and Lead Pastor of Convergence Church. D'Markus is honored to be the Regional Director at Good Dads.

Communications Specialist

Diana joined the Good Dads team in 2021. She designs marketing and outreach materials and oversees Good Dads' communications channels, web content and curriculum development. She studied journalism, sustainability and documentary storytelling at Missouri State University.



Frank Tristan

Assistant Director

Frank has been teaching and coaching for the last 20 years and loves the opportunity to invest in young people. He and his wife Natalie were married in 2008 and have two children, Hays and Taylor. They are regularly involved in church and love experiencing new adventures with their family. As a dad and an educator, it is easy to see how important the role of a father is in raising successful young people. When dads lead well, generations are impacted. This passion has led Frank to work with the Good Dads organization to see more families and communities impacted for good.

Austen joined the Good Dads team in 2023. With a background in management and logistics, he hopes to make a positive impact with fathers in our communities.



Jim Millsap Headshot

Jim Millsap

Strong Schools Coordinator

Jim joined the team after retiring from public education after 39 years. During his career he served as a junior high/high school mathematics teacher and building principal. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at Missouri State University. He is eager about his role as Strong School Coordinator because he has personally witnessed the importance of positive parental involvement in children's lives—and that Good Dads can be a vital part of building strong families.

Justin Moody

Case Manager Assistant

Justin is a graduate student at Missouri State University pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He graduated from MSU in 2023 with bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and psychology. Justin enjoys reading, spending time with his pets, and hiking.
