Good Dads Hannibal

About Us

Good Dads Hannibal was formed in summer 2022 when leaders of the mid-sized city (around 20,000 residents) recognized the impact of father absence and decided to do something about it. After impressive fundraising efforts at the Riverfest event, the Hannibal Rotary was able to help Good Dads Hannibal get started. Hannibal began hosting its first class in March 2023 at the community supervision center. Find out more on our Class Locations page.

Good Dads Hannibal is our newest location in the Good Dads network. We are excited to begin working with them!

Kevin Knickerbocker is originally from Hannibal, MO. Kevin and his wife, Amy, a local optometrist, have three daughters. Kevin worked 30 years for the Missouri Department of Corrections and retired as the District Administrator of the Hannibal office. Kevin has always been involved in local service organizations and upon retirement continued this service, adding Board membership and building houses for Mark Twain Area Habitat for Humanity. When the opportunity to bring the Good Dads program to Northeast Missouri came along, Kevin recognized the need for this in his area and volunteered to be trained as a facilitator. With his long-term knowledge of the needs of the community, Kevin understands the need for a fatherhood program to improve the lives of fathers and children in the community.
